Yuzvendra Chahal, a cricketer, and Dhanashree Verma, known for her stint on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, have been in the spotlight due to their separation rumours. The couple's decision to remove their wedding photos from social media intensified these speculations. Recently, an insider confirmed to Times of India that the divorce is indeed happening.

The insider revealed that the divorce is imminent and will soon be official. Although the exact reasons remain unclear, it is evident that both have chosen to part ways. The source stated, "The divorce is inevitable, and it's only a matter of time before it becomes official. The exact reasons for their separation are not known yet, but it's clear that the couple has decided to move on with their lives separately."

Their relationship began during the lockdown when Yuzvendra expressed interest in learning dance from Dhanashree. Their bond strengthened quickly, leading them to marry on December 11, 2020. Reflecting on this period, Dhanashree shared, "During the lockdown no matches were happening and all the cricketers were sitting at home and getting frustrated. During that time Yuzi decided one fine day that he wants to learn dance. He had seen my dance videos on social media and back in the day, I used to teach dance and he approached me to be my student. I agreed to teach him."

In 2023, speculation about their split arose when Dhanashree removed 'Chahal' from her Instagram name. Yuzvendra later addressed these rumours by urging fans not to believe them. Despite his efforts, by 2025, whispers of their divorce resurfaced strongly. An insider has now confirmed they are indeed proceeding with a divorce.
