Devara Part 1 Box Office Collection Day 7: Jr NTR’s Film Experiences Major Decline After Strong Opening Week
Jr NTR, a prominent figure in Telugu cinema, has returned to the big screen after two years. Following his success with RRR in 2022, he stars in Devara Part 1, an action drama directed by Koratala Siva. The film also features Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan and has been eagerly awaited by fans this year.
Devara Part 1 showcases Jr NTR in a dual role, portraying Devara, a courageous man who confronts his brother Bhaira, played by Saif Ali Khan. Bhaira is involved in smuggling dangerous weapons. Janhvi Kapoor plays Jr NTR's love interest, and their on-screen chemistry has been well-received. The film opened to positive reviews amid significant anticipation.

In its first week at the box office, Devara Part 1 managed to collect Rs 43.75 crores in the Hindi market. Despite a noticeable drop in collections, it maintained a steady presence. On day 7 (first Thursday), it earned Rs 7.25 crores across India, contributing to a total of Rs 215.60 crores for the week.
The film experienced a notable increase in earnings on day 6 (first Wednesday), collecting Rs 6.5 crores. However, day 7 saw a significant decline of about 69%, with earnings dropping to Rs 2 crores. This brought the total box office collection to Rs 43.75 crores.
Reports suggest that Netflix has acquired the digital rights for Devara Part 1. Typically, films debut on OTT platforms around seven to eight weeks post-release. Therefore, Devara Part 1 is anticipated to be available online by mid-November. An official confirmation is still pending.
The movie also stars Prakash Raj, Shruti Marathe, Shine Tom Chacko, Srikanth, Kalaiyarasan, Narain, and Murali Sharma in significant roles. As audiences continue to enjoy Jr NTR's performance and the gripping storyline of Devara Part 1, expectations remain high for its upcoming digital release.
