Devara Hindi Box Office Day 1 Prediction: Will Janhvi Kapoor Achieve Her Highest Opening Yet?

Janhvi Kapoor is making waves with her upcoming film, Devara, marking her third release this year. Following her performances in Mr & Mrs Mahi and Ulajh, she is now set to captivate audiences in this action drama. Directed by Koratala Savi, the film stars Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan alongside Janhvi. This project is significant as it marks her debut in the Telugu film industry and her first collaboration with both Saif and Jr NTR.

The buzz around Devara is largely due to its star-studded cast and engaging trailer. Janhvi's chemistry with Jr NTR has also caught attention. Notably, Jr NTR takes on a double role, while Janhvi portrays his counterpart. Saif Ali Khan plays a negative character as Jr NTR's brother. With its release in both Telugu and Hindi, there are high expectations for its box office performance.

Film producer and business expert Girish Johar shared insights on Devara's potential box office success. He believes the film will have a strong start commercially. "The Hindi north market will be decent at least to start with. I hope it picks up with word of mouth and has a good weekend. Overall chances are good for Devara," he stated. Johar predicts an opening day collection between Rs 8-10 crores in the Hindi market.

If predictions hold true, Devara could become Janhvi Kapoor's highest opener in Hindi, surpassing Dhadak's Rs 8.71 crores opening day earnings. Additionally, it might be Saif Ali Khan's second-highest post-pandemic opener after Vikram Vedha, which collected Rs 10.58 crores on its first day.

Jr NTR has expressed admiration for Janhvi Kapoor's dedication to her role in Devara. He remarked on her unpredictability and impressive performance under pressure: "There was so much of unpredictability in her. The first shot, she came and she gave. She just killed it. With so much pressure, it was a delight seeing her open up on camera," he shared during an interview.
