Devara Box Office Collection Day 5: Jr NTR's Film Maintains Steady Growth And Crosses Rs 35 Crores

Jr NTR's return to the big screen with Devara has thrilled his global fan base. Following the success of RRR in 2022, Jr NTR is back with this action drama directed by Koratala Siva. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, making it one of the year's most awaited releases.

In Devara, Jr NTR takes on a dual role alongside Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, and Murali Sharma. This film marks the first collaboration between Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan with Jr NTR in the Telugu industry. Janhvi's on-screen chemistry with Jr NTR has also caught attention as she plays his love interest.

The movie opened to positive reviews and had a decent start in the Hindi market, earning Rs 7.5 crores on its first day. Although there was a drop on the first Monday, Devara maintained steady growth afterward. Sacnilk reports that it collected Rs 4 crores on day four and Rs 4.25 crores on day five, bringing its total to Rs 26.25 crores.

In India, Devara saw a slight increase of 5% in overall collections across all languages. After an impressive opening weekend, collections dropped by 68% on the first Monday to Rs 12.75 crores. However, Sacnilk states that it earned Rs 13.4 crores on the first Tuesday, taking its total to Rs 186.75 crores.

During the trailer launch of Devara Part 1, Saif Ali Khan shared his thoughts about working with Jr NTR: "When I saw him shooting on set, he seems to grow in stature and becomes a larger-than-life person in front of the camera, which is a very great star quality to have. And after the cut, he goes back to being a normal and fun person. It has been so nice working with him."
