Deva Vs Sky Force: Analyzing Morning Shows Occupancy For Both Films Today

Akshay Kumar's latest film, Sky Force, has been a hot topic this year. The action-packed drama also stars newcomers like Veer Pahariya, alongside Sara Ali Khan, Nimrat Kaur, and Sharad Kelkar. It is inspired by India's first airstrike during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani war. After a successful week in theatres, it now faces competition from Shahid Kapoor's new release, Deva.

Deva is directed by Rosshan Andrrews, a Malayalam filmmaker making his Bollywood debut. This crime action thriller features Shahid Kapoor as a cop and stars Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati. The film is a remake of the 2013 Malayalam movie Mumbai Police. Released today, it competes directly with Sky Force at the box office.

Despite being in its second week, Sky Force managed to draw an audience occupancy of 7.89% during today's morning shows. This indicates its continued popularity among viewers.

According to Sacnilk's report, Deva had a modest start with a 5.87% occupancy rate during its morning shows on the first day of release.

Shahid Kapoor shared insights about his physical transformation for Deva with Zoom. He said, "So, what I wanted to do with this character was, I didn't want to make him metrosexual, chiseled-no. I felt like he should look very rugged. In my head, I always thought he should be like a bulldog." He further described wanting his character to appear raw and strong.
