Deva Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction: Shahid Kapoor's Film Anticipated To Surpass Rs 10 Crores Today
Shahid Kapoor's latest film, Deva, has captured attention as his first release of 2025. This action thriller, directed by Rosshan Andrrews, features Shahid as a super cop alongside Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati. The film is a remake of the Malayalam movie Mumbai Police and was highly anticipated by audiences.
Deva marked several milestones upon its release. It is Shahid's first film of the year and Rosshan Andrrews' Bollywood debut. Additionally, it is Shahid's initial collaboration with Pooja Hegde. Released on January 31, the film received mixed reviews and had a slow start at the box office.

According to Sacnilk, Deva earned Rs 5 crores on its opening day. This makes it Shahid Kapoor's second-highest opener post-pandemic, following Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.
The box office trend suggests an increase in collections over the weekend. On its second day, Deva is expected to earn between Rs 6-8 crores, surpassing the Rs 10 crore mark overall.
Discussing his physical transformation for Deva, Shahid shared with Zoom, "So, what I wanted to do with this character was, I didn't want to make him metrosexual, chiseled-no. I felt like he should look very rugged. In my head, I always thought he should be like a bulldog. They're these broad-shouldered, stout beings. They don't have much hair, and they look tough. Aise lagta hai na, maar denge aise. Mera feeling wahi tha ki he should be this tough guy. They're raw, and they look strong. Jisko dekhke lagega, isse panga maat lo. Isse dur raho. Toh mujhe thoda woh vibe chahiye tha".
The film's unique elements and star-studded cast have kept audiences intrigued despite its initial slow performance at the box office. As Deva continues to screen in theatres, viewers are eager to see how it fares in the coming days.
