Deva Box Office Collection Day 1: Shahid Kapoor's Action Film Falls Short Of Kabir Singh Opening Numbers
Shahid Kapoor has returned to the big screen with his latest film, "Deva," after nearly a year. Playing the role of police officer Dev Ambre, Shahid's performance has been highly praised by fans since the trailer's release. However, the real question is how well the film is performing at the box office on its first day.
"Deva," featuring Shahid Kapoor, Pooja Hegde, Pavail Gulati, and Kubbra Sait, premiered in cinemas on Friday, January 31. Despite a strong buzz before its release and positive word-of-mouth, the film is experiencing a slow start at the box office.

According to Sacnilk's latest updates, this Hindi action-thriller has earned approximately Rs 1.47 crore (nett) by 6:25 PM IST on its opening day.
Fans have been drawing comparisons between Shahid Kapoor's character in "Deva" and his role in the 2019 hit "Kabir Singh." While "Kabir Singh," a remake of "Arjun Reddy," set numerous records, "Deva" is struggling to reach even half of what "Kabir Singh" achieved on its first day.
An earlier report from Sacnilk indicated that "Kabir Singh," directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, grossed Rs 20.21 crore on its release day.
Morning and Afternoon Show Occupancy for Deva
Sacnilk reports that "Deva" had a modest audience turnout of 5.87% during morning screenings today. As the day progressed, attendance improved slightly with afternoon shows reaching an occupancy rate of 9.18%.
The anticipation surrounding Shahid Kapoor's portrayal in "Deva" was high among fans who eagerly awaited its release. Despite this enthusiasm and Shahid's commendable performance as Dev Ambre, the film's initial box office numbers indicate a challenging start.
