According to Sacnilk's latest updates, this Hindi action-thriller has earned approximately Rs 1.47 crore (nett) by 6:25 PM IST on its opening day.

Fans have been drawing comparisons between Shahid Kapoor's character in "Deva" and his role in the 2019 hit "Kabir Singh." While "Kabir Singh," a remake of "Arjun Reddy," set numerous records, "Deva" is struggling to reach even half of what "Kabir Singh" achieved on its first day.

An earlier report from Sacnilk indicated that "Kabir Singh," directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, grossed Rs 20.21 crore on its release day.

Sacnilk reports that "Deva" had a modest audience turnout of 5.87% during morning screenings today. As the day progressed, attendance improved slightly with afternoon shows reaching an occupancy rate of 9.18%.

The anticipation surrounding Shahid Kapoor's portrayal in "Deva" was high among fans who eagerly awaited its release. Despite this enthusiasm and Shahid's commendable performance as Dev Ambre, the film's initial box office numbers indicate a challenging start.
