Kalki 2898 AD Hits New Milestone With Deepika, Prabhas Leading The Charge

Kalki 2898 AD Box Office Collection Day 11 (Hindi) Prediction: Deepika Padukone and Prabhas' first collaboration, Kalki 2898 AD, has been highly anticipated this year. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film features a stellar cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani in significant roles, with Dulqur Salmaan and Vijay Deverakonda making cameo appearances. Set in a post-apocalyptic world in 2898 AD, the story revolves around Kalki, the tenth and final avatar of the Hindu deity Vishnu.

Upon release, Kalki 2898 AD received rave reviews from audiences and had a grand opening in the Hindi market. The film recorded an impressive opening day collection of Rs 22.5 crores and entered the Rs 100 crores club during its opening weekend. Despite facing competition from Lakshya's Kill and experiencing a steady decline in numbers during the first week, it maintained a strong box office presence.

The second weekend brought significant relief for Kalki 2898 AD as it approached another major milestone. According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 9.4 crores on day nine (second Friday) and saw a remarkable 106% increase in collections on day ten (second Saturday), earning Rs 18.5 crores. This took the overall collection to Rs 190.4 crores. Given this trend, Kalki 2898 AD is expected to earn between Rs 18-20 crores today (day eleven/second Sunday), crossing the Rs 200 crore mark at the box office.

Interestingly, Kalki 2898 AD will reportedly depict some events from the Mahabharata set in 3102 BC. In an interview with Deadline, Nag Ashwin clarified that the movie "does not involve any characters actively worshipped by large numbers of Hindus." He added, "We can take it as extremely religious or we can take it as the story of somebody who was born with a lot of power, didn't know what to do with it, and found his mentor in the process."

As Kalki 2898 AD continues to perform well at the box office, its unique storyline and star-studded cast have captivated audiences. The film's success is a testament to its compelling narrative and strong performances by its lead actors.
