Produced by Marvel Studios, Maximum Effort, and 21 Laps Entertainment, Deadpool & Wolverine - the 34th film in MCU and the third installment in the Deadpool franchise - opened to a box office collection of approximately Rs 21 crores in India, as per Sacnilk. The film raked in Rs 22.65 cr on Saturday (day 2) at the Indian box office.

Marvel Duo's Record Opening in India

Deadpool & Wolverine features Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson aka Deadpool, Hugh Jackman as James 'Logan' Howlett aka Wolverine, Emma Corrin as Cassandra Nova, Matthew Macfadyen as Mr. Paradox, and Karan Soni as Dopinder among others.

The film also boasts of a string of impressive cameos by Henry Cavill as Wolverine, Chris Evans as Johnny Storm, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Jennier Garner as Elektra among others.

According to the latest report published by Sacnilk, Ryan-Hugh's film maintained its strong hold at the box office and collected Rs 22.50 crores (early estimates) on Sunday (day 3) in India. The total box office collection (India) of Deadpool & Wolverine is now estimated to be around Rs 66.15 crores in 3 days.

The day-wise collection for Deadpool & Wolverine in India is impressive. On its first Friday (Day 1), it earned ₹21 Cr with English contributing ₹10.9 Cr, Hindi ₹8.1 Cr, Telugu ₹0.9 Cr, and Tamil ₹1.1 Cr.

The second day saw an increase with ₹22.65 Cr collected on Saturday (Day 2), broken down into English ₹12.6 Cr, Hindi ₹8.2 Cr, Telugu ₹0.7 Cr, and Tamil ₹1.15 Cr.

On Sunday (Day 3), early estimates show a collection of ₹22.50 Cr bringing the total to approximately Rs 66.15 crores over three days.

This remarkable performance highlights the strong fan base for both characters and their appeal across different languages in India.
