Dangal Actress Suhani Bhatnagar Passes Away at 19, Played Young Babita Phogat
Suhani Bhatnagar, the young talent who left a significant mark in Bollywood with her role as young Babita Phogat in the critically acclaimed movie Dangal, has passed away. The 19-year-old actress's life came to a tragic end in Delhi on Saturday, February 17. Her demise has left fans and the film fraternity in shock, mourning the loss of a promising star.
Reports from Jagran suggest that Bhatnagar had previously suffered a leg fracture, which led to her undergoing treatment. Unfortunately, the medication prescribed during her recovery had detrimental effects on her health. It was reported that her body started retaining fluid, a condition that contributed to her untimely passing.

The young actress was receiving medical care at the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi for an extended period. Her final rites were conducted in Faridabad on the same day of her demise.
Bhatnagar's performance in Dangal, under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari and alongside Aamir Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, and Zaira Wasim, garnered her widespread acclaim. Despite her success, she decided to take a break from acting to focus on her academic pursuits.
On social media, particularly Instagram, Suhani maintained a relatively low profile. Her last activity on the platform dates back to November 2021, where she shared a couple of selfies. Despite her infrequent posts in recent times, she enjoyed a following of 20.9K users and often shared moments from her life and career, including pictures with her co-stars from Dangal.
The Bollywood community and fans alike have expressed their condolences and remembered Suhani for her contribution to Indian cinema at such a young age. Her departure is indeed a significant loss to the industry.
May her soul rest in peace.
