Dalljiet Kaur Thanks Police For Support In Legal Action Against Nikhil Patel
Dalljiet Kaur Thanks Police For Filing FIR: Actor Dalljiet Kaur expressed her gratitude towards the police on Sunday through a social media post. She appreciated their support during the filing of an FIR, amidst reports of legal action against her ex-husband Nikhil Patel. Known for TV shows like "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?" and "Kaala Teeka", she praised the Indian Police for empowering law-abiding citizens.
Kaur highlighted the names of Agripada police station staff in her Instagram post, thanking them for their "patience and empathy". She wrote, "I could not help but to pen down my experience of lodging FIR. Thank you so much Joint Commissioner Of Police Anil Paraska for being so amazing... I couldn't believe we were being served with water to calm me down and we instantly felt very safe to speak the truth."

She continued, "Sir made me and my father very comfortable as he could see I was shaken with whatever was happening. I am convinced now that when you are on the right side of the law and are on the side of truth, the Indian Police will empower you. I know now that women are safe in our country," tagging Mumbai Police in her post.
Kaur married Kenya-based entrepreneur Patel last year and moved to Africa. However, she returned to Mumbai with her son Jaydon after accusing Patel of infidelity. The couple announced their separation in May 2024.
Over recent months, Kaur has shared multiple Instagram posts hinting at Patel's extramarital affair. This led to Patel sending a legal notice to Kaur. She was previously married to actor Shalin Bhanot from 2009 to 2015, and they share a 10-year-old son named Jaydon.
Kaur's heartfelt note reflects her appreciation for the police's support during a challenging time. Her experience underscores the importance of feeling safe and supported by law enforcement when seeking justice.
