Cigarettes After Sex, an international pop band, recently cancelled their Bengaluru concert, leaving fans disappointed. The band had already performed in Mumbai and Gurugram as part of their India tour in January. Scheduled for January 28th, the Bengaluru show was called off at the last minute, causing frustration among fans who had already arrived at the venue.

Just hours before the concert, Cigarettes After Sex announced on Instagram that 'technical difficulties' were to blame for the cancellation. They stated, "We're heartbroken to announce that due to technical difficulties which were the responsibility of local production at the venue and beyond our control, we're unable to perform and unfortunately have to cancel tonight's show in Bengaluru." They assured fans that refunds would be processed through BookMyShow.

The band's Instagram post further explained that local production issues were insurmountable despite their efforts. The caption read, "unfortunately the local production had technical difficulties they couldn't fix. we tried everything we could to make the show happen, but the problems are with the local production & beyond our control. we waited months & months to see you & are heartbroken that there's nothing we can do. love you all & are so sorry for this????...(sic)"

Fans expressed their disappointment online after learning about the cancellation upon reaching Bengaluru.
