Chandu Champion To Premiere On OTT: Date And Platform Revealed

Chandu Champion OTT Release Date: Following the success of mid-budget films like Srikanth and Munjya, Bollywood has seen the release of a highly anticipated movie. Chandu Champion, starring Kartik Aaryan in the lead role, has hit theatres today (June 14). Directed by Kabir Khan, this biographical drama has generated significant buzz and expectations.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Chandu Champion marks Kartik Aaryan's return to the big screen after Satyaprem Ki Katha. The film narrates the story of India's first Paralympics gold medalist Murlikant Petkar. Petkar's journey transitions from being a soldier and boxer to becoming a celebrated swimmer.

Written and directed by Kabir Khan, the film was shot in various locations, including London, Jammu & Kashmir, and Wai. Viewers will witness the phase when Petkar served in the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965. This conflict resulted in the deaths of 2,862 Indian soldiers, during which Murlikant Petkar was injured.

According to recent reports, Amazon Prime Video has secured the OTT rights for Chandu Champion. Following the pattern of recent Bollywood films like Maidaan, Laapataa Ladies, and Madgaon Express, Chandu Champion is expected to make its digital debut roughly two months after its theatrical release. This would likely be by late July or early August. However, an official confirmation and the exact premiere date are still pending.
