Chandu Champion Box Office Dips As Kalki 2898 AD Looms: Analysis

Chandu Champion Box Office Collection Prediction Day 13: Kartik Aaryan's dramatic body transformation for 'Chandu Champion' has taken the internet by storm. Directed by Kabir Khan, this biographical sports drama premiered on 14th June 2024. Kartik's portrayal of Murlikant Petkar, India's first Paralympic gold medalist, has garnered rave reviews. Despite positive feedback, the film's box office performance has been underwhelming. The movie also features Vijay Raaz, Bhuvan Arora, and Yashpal Sharma in significant roles.

Kartik Aaryan starrer Chandu Champion received positive reviews from both fans and critics. However, the box office numbers have not met expectations. The film collected Rs 4.25 crore on its opening day and Rs 35.25 crore in its first week.

According to Sacnilk, Kartik's film earned around Rs 2 crore (early estimates) on its second Tuesday, bringing the total estimated collection to Rs 53 crores over 12 days.

The film had an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 14.30% on Tuesday, June 25, as per the latest reports.

'Chandu Champion' faces stiff competition from Sharvari-Abhay Verma's horror-comedy 'Munjya'. According to Sacnilk, Kartik's film has already earned around Rs 7 lakhs today (day 13).

The film's pace at the box office has slowed after its second weekend. It is expected to face a setback today (June 26) due to the upcoming release of Prabhas-Deepika Padukone starrer 'Kalki 2898 AD', which hits cinemas globally tomorrow, June 27.
