Celebrities Rally For Justice In Horrific Kolkata Doctor Rape-Murder Case

Kolkata Doctor Rape-Murder Case: A young post-graduate doctor from RG Kar Kolkata, a government hospital, was brutally gang-raped and murdered during her late-night duty on August 9. Celebrities have voiced their outrage and demanded justice. From Kangana Ranaut to Manushi Chillar to Mouni Roy, many have condemned the crime and called for strict action.

Kangana Ranaut, now a BJP MP, expressed her anger on Instagram, calling for a CBI investigation. She wrote, "Murder of a trainee woman doctor at state-run RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata is horrible & horrific. The semi-nude body of the woman post-graduate trainee doctor was found inside the seminar hall on Friday morning. She was brutally murdered and her body bore multiple injury marks. The preliminary autopsy report indicated sexual abuse before her murder. I hope case is transferred to CBI for complete inquiry and the assaulter is punished harshly."

Manushi Chillar, former Miss World and an MBBS graduate, also took to Instagram to share a widely circulated post demanding justice for the doctor. The post calls on non-medical professionals to join in seeking justice.

Other celebrities like Mouni Roy, Pulkit Samrat, Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani, Aly Goni, and Jasmin Bhasin also shared the same post on social media platforms. They all demanded justice for the young doctor.
