He revealed in DJ Simz's YouTube channel that a Bollywood celebrity was caught cheating his wife just two months after their wedding. He was found in a "compromising position" with an actress in his makeup van. After the wife caught the Bollywood celebrity red handed, she no longer wanted the wedding video that was being produced by Vishal. The filmmaker said, "I was calling the groom, but he wasn't picking up. I called the bride, and she was furious, saying, 'Don't talk to me, I don't want the wedding film.'" Vishal then called the actor's manager and he confirmed that the couple didn't want their wedding film. Vishal got a big lesson from the situation. He said, "Back then, my contract stipulated 50% payment before and 50% after delivering the film. After this fiasco, I decided to charge 100% upfront."
