Bollywood Celebrities Gather For Tahira Kashyap’s ‘Sharmajee Ki Beti’ Screening Event

Prime Video, Applause Entertainment, and Ellipsis Entertainment recently hosted a special screening for Tahira Kashyap Khurrana's directorial debut, Sharmajee Ki Beti. The event took place just two days before the film's global premiere on the streaming service. The evening featured the film's lead cast, including Sakshi Tanwar, Divya Dutta, Saiyami Kher, Vanshika Taparia, and Arista Mehta. Director Tahira Kashyap Khurrana was also present alongside Manish Menghani from Prime Video India, Sameer Nair of Applause Entertainment, and Tanuj Garg and Atul Kasbekar from Ellipsis Entertainment.

The star-studded event saw numerous celebrities in attendance. Ayushmann Khurrana, Taapsee Pannu, Sonali Bendre, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Karishma Tanna, Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, Aparshakti Khurana were among those who came to support the film. Sharmajee Ki Beti is a light-hearted yet heartwarming movie that addresses women's empowerment and their challenges. The story is told through the perspectives of three middle-class women and two teenage girls who all share the surname 'Sharma'. The film explores their unique experiences and struggles in a relatable manner.

Presented by Applause Entertainment and produced by Ellipsis Entertainment Media, Sharmajee Ki Beti is written and directed by Tahira Kashyap Khurrana. The film stars Sakshi Tanwar, Divya Dutta, Saiyami Kher in lead roles along with Vanshika Taparia and Arista Mehta. Supporting roles are played by Sharib Hashmi and Parvin Dabas.

The much-anticipated film will be available exclusively on Prime Video starting June 28. It will be accessible to viewers in India as well as over 200 countries and territories worldwide.
