Directed by Amar Kaushik, the supernatural horror-comedy sequel opened with Rs 51.8 crore (excluding paid reviews) on Thursday. Featuring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee, the film earned Rs 43.85 crore on Saturday and Rs 55.9 crore on Sunday.

Stree 2 Tops Week 1 Box Office

According to Sacnilk's latest report, Stree 2 collected around Rs 19 crore on Wednesday (day 7), bringing its total collection to Rs 274.35 crore in the first week.

Mudassar Aziz directed Khel Khel Mein, starring Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Fardeen Khan, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal. The film received mixed reviews from both audiences and critics and earned Rs 5.05 crore on its first day. However, it slowed down significantly over the week.

Sacnilk reported that Khel Khel Mein earned around Rs 1.1 crore on Wednesday (day 7), making its total collection approximately Rs 18.35 crore in the first week.

Vedaa Box Office Collection Day 7

John Abraham and Sharvari starrer Vedaa faced challenges at the box office despite being inspired by true events. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, it opened with Rs 6.3 crore but saw a decline after the extended opening weekend.

Sacnilk noted that Vedaa managed to earn Rs 70 lakhs on Wednesday (day 7), bringing its total estimated collection to Rs 17 crore in the first week.

Stree 2 Vs Khel Khel Mein Vs Vedaa First Week Report

The dominance of Stree 2 significantly impacted both KKM and Vedaa at the box office. Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's film maintained strong performance throughout the week. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar's comedy-drama slightly outperformed Vedaa in their first-week collections.

The competition among these films highlighted Stree 2's overwhelming success compared to its rivals' struggles at the box office during their initial week.
