Bengaluru To Host Band-E-Mataram Music Festival: A Four-Day Musical Extravaganza

Bengaluru is gearing up for an extraordinary musical event as Band-E-Mataram, organised by the Alive India Music Foundation in collaboration with TVS Apache and supported by Honourpoint, takes place at the Bhartiya Mall. The Josh app serves as the short-video partner for this event.

This four-day festival, from August 15 to 18, promises a thrilling celebration of music with performances from top industry talents. Below is the detailed schedule for Band-E-Mataram.

The festival begins with a colourful Rang De Veer painting competition and flag hoisting ceremony. The evening will feature "Sounds of India" with performances by Alive India Rockstars, including Ankita Kundu (Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa finalist and Rising Star winner), Nibedita Pradhan (Swara Odisha winner and Indian Idol Semi-Finalist), Rithika Raj (Indian Idol Runner Up), and Supratiek Ghosh (Founder of Aurko and Alive India).

On August 16th, Day Two will spotlight "The Battle of the Bands," starting at 5 pm. The evening's highlight will be a captivating performance by Vineeth Sharma from Varanasi, showcasing his "Flute Fantasy."

Day Three Events

The third day on August 17th will feature the eagerly awaited "Battle of Singers," beginning at 5 pm. This will be followed by a mesmerising performance by indie artist Suraj Mani, known for his unique musical style.

Final Day Extravaganza

The grand finale on August 18th will start at 4 pm with final rounds of both the Battle of Bands and Battle of Singers. A prize distribution ceremony will follow for the winners. The evening will conclude with a special performance by Zubeen Garg, celebrating his three-decade career in independent music with over 35,000 songs.
