'Be A Man, Yaar' Season 2 Hits Times Square: A Milestone For Positive Masculinity
Yuvaa, a youth media and impact organisation, announced that its talk show 'Be A Man, Yaar' has gained international recognition with a feature on Times Square. The show, hosted by Nikhil Taneja, aims to provide men with a comfortable space to express themselves and is now set to reach international audiences.
The show has redefined traditional masculinity and promoted positive gender roles through heartfelt conversations with Indian entertainment industry figures like Karan Johar, Vicky Kaushal, Kartik Aaryan, Bhuvan Bam, Zakir Khan, Javed Akhtar, and Naseeruddin Shah. This feature on Times Square marks a significant milestone in showcasing what it means to be a boy, a man, and a human.

With the support of their audio partner Amazon Music, Yuvaa is ready to take the show to global South Asian audiences. The goal is to spark meaningful conversations that resonate globally. Initially aimed at making Indian men feel less alone by making them feel heard and represented, the show now seeks to represent vulnerable stories of men worldwide.
Nikhil Taneja hosted a screening in New York for the South Asian media and entertainment community in collaboration with Brown Girl Magazine. He showcased Season 2 of the series and provided insights into how Season 1 became the #1 podcast on Amazon Music last year. During a Q&A with Trisha Sakhuja-Walia from Brown Girl Magazine, Nikhil discussed his journey with mental health and masculinity that led him to create the show.
