Bade Miyan Chote Miyan: Could Katrina Kaif Have Elevated The Film Over Manushi Chhillar?

The much-anticipated Bollywood film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, featuring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, made its debut on the big screens today. Despite the commendable performances by Akshay Kumar and Prithviraj Sukumaran, the film has garnered mixed to negative critiques. The movie showcases three female leads - Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, and Alaya F. While Sonakshi and Alaya have managed to make an impact, Manushi's performance did not live up to expectations.

Manushi Chhillar, in a significant role as Captain Misha, had ample opportunities to showcase her talent. However, her lack of expressions and subpar dialogue delivery have led to a consensus that her potential was not fully utilized in the film. Interestingly, director Ali Abbas Zafar had initially approached Katrina Kaif for a role in the movie. Due to scheduling conflicts with other projects, Katrina was unable to participate. This revelation has led to speculation among viewers that Katrina might have been a more fitting choice for Captain Misha.

Katrina Over Manushi in BMCN?

The dynamic between Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar's characters lacks depth in romance, yet it's suggested that scenes featuring Akshay alongside Katrina Kaif could have elicited a more enthusiastic response from audiences. Given the successful track record of the Akshay-Katrina duo in past films, their reunion could have potentially added more appeal to Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.

Manushi Chhillar, who began her acting career with Samrat Prithviraj, has appeared in films such as The Great Indian Family and Operation Valentine. Unfortunately, these projects did not fare well commercially, leaving Manushi with much to prove in her acting career.

Looking ahead, Manushi has the film Tehran, starring John Abraham, in her pipeline. This upcoming project presents an opportunity for her to win over critics and audiences alike. Additionally, Ali Abbas Zafar has teased that Katrina Kaif might be involved in his next film project. This news has understandably excited Katrina's fanbase, eager for her collaboration with Ali.

The release of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has certainly sparked discussions regarding casting choices and performances. As the film navigates through its theatrical run, it remains to be seen how it will ultimately be received by the wider audience and whether Manushi Chhillar can bounce back in her forthcoming film Tehran.
