Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Box Office Day 14: Akshay’s Film Fails To Impress
The collaboration between Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" (BMCM) has been one of the most talked-about events in Bollywood recently. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Alaya F, and Manushi Chhillar in significant roles. Despite the high anticipation and the star-studded cast, BMCM has struggled to make a significant impact at the box office.
Upon its release, BMCM received mixed reactions from audiences, which reflected in its box office performance. The film opened with a collection of Rs 15.65 crores but saw a sharp decline in earnings post the first Monday. It has since failed to achieve double-digit collections on any single day or even surpass the Rs 3 crores mark post its opening weekend.

As BMCM approaches the end of its second week in theaters, its struggle at the box office continues. Recent reports suggest that on its thirteenth day, the film managed to collect only Rs 80 lakhs, bringing its total earnings to Rs 56.80 crores. Predictions for day 14 indicate a steady collection of Rs 70-80 lakhs, with morning shows already contributing Rs 11 lakhs towards this figure. This is expected to push the total box office collection past the Rs 57 crores mark.
BMCM's release coincided with Ajay Devgn's "Maidaan," marking another instance where Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn have competed for audience attention at the box office. Despite this competition and challenges from other new releases like Dibakar Banerjee's "LSD 2: Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2" and Vidya Balan's "Do Aur Do Pyaar," Ali Abbas Zafar's directorial venture has managed to hold its own.
The film's performance is indicative of the unpredictable nature of box office successes, where even high anticipation and a stellar cast do not guarantee blockbuster status. As BMCM continues its run, it remains to be seen how it will fare in the coming days against its competitors and whether it can overcome its initial hurdles to achieve a respectable final tally.
