Bade Miyan Chote Miyan To Face Major Box Office Dip On Day 5
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Box Office Performance Falters Despite High Expectations
The much-anticipated action entertainer, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, along with Alaya F and Manushi Chhillar in lead female roles, has not lived up to the box office expectations. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also features Prithviraj Sukumaran as the lead antagonist, a role that has garnered significant appreciation.

Despite the initial buzz and securing the position of the second highest opener of the year with a collection of Rs 15.65 crores, the film's performance at the box office has been underwhelming from the second day onwards. It struggled to achieve double-digit collections per day, marking a disappointing trend for the stakeholders.
The film's inability to attract audiences continued over its first weekend. Reports from Sacnilk highlighted that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan managed to collect only Rs 8.5 crores on its third day (Saturday) and Rs 9 crores on its fourth day (Sunday), bringing its total collection to Rs 40.75 crores.
Current trends suggest a significant drop in collections for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan on its fifth day (Monday), with expectations ranging between Rs 4-6 crores. The film is anticipated to barely cross the Rs 45 crores mark. The coming days will be crucial in determining whether it can regain momentum at the box office.
In a surprising turn of events, despite facing competition from Ajay Devgn's sports drama Maidaan, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan managed to outperform it on the opening day by a considerable margin. Ajay Devgn commented on the competition, stating he does not view it as a clash but acknowledged the challenges of releasing two major films simultaneously due to certain obligations.
The performance of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan at the box office raises questions about its future prospects and whether it can maintain a lead over Maidaan in the days to come. With both films vying for audience attention, only time will reveal the ultimate victor in this box office battle.
