Bad Newz Aims For Strong Box Office Debut: Industry Expert Weighs In

Bad Newz Box Office Collection: Last week's releases, Sarfira and Hindustani 2, did not perform well at the box office. Kalki 2898 AD was the preferred choice for audiences. This week, a new film titled Bad Newz is set to premiere. Starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, it will release on 19th July 2024. The trailer and songs have already caught everyone's attention.

Filmibeat interviewed producer and film business expert Girish Johar about Bad Newz. When asked about the pre-release buzz, Johar stated, "I am quite positive about the film as the buzz is quite good. The music of the film is good, and Tauba Tauba is already a chartbuster. The awareness level about the film is good, so I am hopeful that it will take a good opening at the box office."

Discussing the opening numbers, Johar mentioned, "It is too early to speak about the numbers, but I am hopeful that the film will get a good opening because of the buzz."

Vicky's last release Sam Bahadur was successful at the box office. Triptii also starred in Animal, which was a blockbuster. Therefore, expectations for Bad Newz are high. Additionally, Ammy Virk is well-known in Punjabi cinema, which could help the movie start strong in northern regions.

When asked if Vicky and Triptii's stardom would benefit the film, Johar responded, "Stars are important, but more than that the concept relevancy is important. Looking at Bad Newz, it looks like the story has good relevance."
