Baby John Box Office Day 6 Prediction: Varun Dhawan's Film Expected To See Significant Decline
Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh's film, Baby John, has been eagerly anticipated since its announcement. This Bollywood remake of Thalapathy Vijay's 2016 film Theri also stars Jackie Shroff and Wamiqa Gabbi. The action drama's trailer attracted attention with its intriguing plot and impressive cast.
Despite the excitement around Varun and Keerthy's on-screen pairing, Jackie Shroff's role as the main antagonist captivated audiences. The film's catchy songs also contributed to its buzz. However, Baby John has struggled at the box office during its first week, failing to meet expectations.

The film saw a slight increase in earnings over the opening weekend. On day four (Saturday), it earned Rs 4.25 crores, followed by Rs 4.75 crores on day five (Sunday). This brought the total collection to Rs 28.65 crores.
Based on current trends, Baby John's earnings are expected to drop significantly on day six (Monday). The film is predicted to earn between Rs 1.5-2 crores, bringing it closer to the Rs 31 crores mark.
In an interview with India Today, Varun discussed drawing inspiration from Theri for Baby John. He explained, "When Atlee came with this film, there was a reason behind it, and he said that we had to change a lot of the geography of the film. We have to use it as an adaptation and not really a proper remake, and I think that's what's done. Like you see, a lot of the frames and a lot of the story angles are different. So, if someone comes in expecting a book-by-book remake, they will be disappointed because that's not what the film is. It's an adaptation. We're not running away from that, but it's more of an adaptation."
