Baby John Box Office Collection Prediction: Varun Dhawan's Film Expected To Earn Rs 1.5 Crores On Day 7

Baby John Box Office Collection Day 6: Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh's film, Baby John, has been eagerly awaited this year. It marks Varun's first major release of the year and is a Bollywood adaptation of the Tamil thriller Theri, originally starring Thalapathy Vijay. Alongside Varun and Keerthy, the movie features Wamiqa Gabbi and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles.

Keerthy Suresh makes her Bollywood debut with Baby John, collaborating with Varun Dhawan for the first time. Jackie Shroff's portrayal of the main antagonist has drawn attention. This film also sees Varun playing a cop for the second time. Despite significant anticipation, Baby John received mixed reviews and is facing challenges at the box office.

The film saw an increase in earnings over its opening weekend but experienced a sharp decline by its first Monday. As per Sacnilk's report, Baby John earned Rs 1.85 crores on day six, bringing its total earnings to Rs 30.43 crores.

The current trend suggests that Baby John's earnings will continue to drop, struggling to reach Rs 2 crores today (day seven). It is expected to earn around Rs 1.5 crores today, pushing its total collection close to Rs 32 crores by the end of its first week.

In an interview with India Today, Varun discussed how Theri inspired him: "When Atlee came with this film, there was a reason behind it, and he said that we had to change a lot of the geography of the film. We have to use it as an adaptation and not really a proper remake, and I think that's what's done. Like you see, a lot of the frames and a lot of the story angles are different. So, if someone comes in expecting a book-by-book remake, they will be disappointed because that's not what the film is. It's an adaptation. We're not running away from that, but it's more of an adaptation".
