Baby John Box Office Collection Day 9: Varun Dhawan's recent film, 'Baby John,' is not drawing large crowds to cinemas. Despite being Varun's biggest opening in five years, the action-packed movie isn't making a significant impact at the box office. Directed by Kalees, this Hindi remake of Thalapathy Vijay's 2016 Tamil hit 'Theri' includes Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav in key roles. Salman Khan also makes a cameo appearance in this Atlee-produced film. Released on December 25, 2024, it coincided with the Christmas holiday.

Varun Dhawan leads Baby John, marking the Bollywood debut of National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh. The film received mostly positive reviews from both fans and critics. However, this acclaim hasn't translated into strong box office numbers yet. According to Sacnilk, Baby John had an impressive opening day collection of Rs 11.25 crore, making it Varun's largest opening in five years.

Despite a strong start, the film's earnings declined sharply. Even during its first weekend, it couldn't match its opening day figures. Baby John earned approximately Rs 32.65 crore in its first week. As per Sacnilk's latest report, the film recorded its lowest single-day earnings on Thursday (January 2), collecting Rs 1 crore (early estimates). This brings the total estimated nett collection to Rs 36.40 crore over nine days.

The movie reportedly had a Hindi occupancy rate of 9.20% on Thursday (January 2, 2025).

The production budget for Baby John is estimated at Rs 160 crore. According to Deccan Chronicle, Amazon Prime Video has acquired the post-theatrical OTT streaming rights for the film. If reports are accurate, it may be available on this digital platform by late February this year. However, there hasn't been any official confirmation regarding this release date yet.
