Baba Siddique's Assassination Linked To Failed Attack On Salman Khan Due To High Security

Salman Khan, a renowned actor, was reportedly the original target of an attack that resulted in the tragic death of his close friend, Baba Siddique. This incident occurred nearly two months ago on October 12, 2024. Baba Siddique, a notable NCP leader, was shot outside his son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Mumbai's Bandra East. The assailants, associated with the infamous Lawrence Bishnoi gang, fired at least six bullets. Four of these struck Baba Siddique in the chest, leading to his immediate death upon arrival at Lilavati Hospital.

The investigation into this murder revealed that the attackers had initially planned to assassinate Salman Khan. According to a report from India Today, a source close to the investigation disclosed that during interrogation, the accused confessed to targeting Khan before changing their plans and killing Baba Siddique instead. Despite their intentions, they could not reach Salman Khan due to his stringent security measures. This change in plan led to Baba Siddique's unfortunate demise on Dussehra evening.

Baba Siddique's Murder Tied to Salman Khan Threats

Earlier this year, threats against Salman Khan intensified when two individuals on a motorcycle fired shots outside Galaxy Apartment in Bandra, where Khan resides. These incidents highlight the persistent danger posed by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In a recent unsettling event, a fan attempting to enter the set of Khan's upcoming film "Sikandar" was detained after making a threatening remark about contacting Lawrence Bishnoi. This further underscores the security challenges surrounding the actor.

Despite these threats, Salman Khan remains focused on his career and is currently working on "Sikandar," an action-entertainer directed by A.R. Murugadoss. The film features an impressive cast including Rashmika Mandanna, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, and Sathyaraj. Fans eagerly await the first look of the film expected to be released on Salman Khan's birthday, December 27, 2024.

The challenges faced by public figures like Salman Khan and Baba Siddique highlight broader issues of safety and security amid organized crime threats. The loss of Baba Siddique serves as a sobering reminder of real dangers arising from such threats. For those struggling with similar violence or threats, seeking support from mental health specialists or relevant NGOs is crucial. This tragic incident underscores the need for continued vigilance and support for individuals facing perilous situations.
