Baba Siddique Funeral: Last Rites Scheduled For October 13 In Mumbai

The tragic news of Baba Siddique's death has sent shockwaves across the nation. The well-known politician, famous for his connections in Bollywood, was fatally shot in Mumbai. The incident occurred on October 12 as he was leaving his son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Bandra. Reports state that three unidentified attackers fired at him while he was in his car. Despite being rushed to Lilavati Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.

The Bollywood community is deeply affected by Baba Siddique's untimely demise. Many celebrities, including Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra, and Zaheer Iqbal, hurried to Lilavati Hospital upon hearing the news. Salman Khan, who had a close friendship with Baba Siddique, also cancelled his Bigg Boss 18 shoot to visit the hospital. Baba Siddique leaves behind his wife Shehzeen Siddique, daughter Arshia Siddique, and son Zeeshan Siddique. His body was taken to Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem examination, and the funeral is scheduled for October 13 evening.

The final rites for Baba Siddique are set for this evening at 7 PM after Magrib Namaz at Maqba Heights on Pali Road in Bandra(W). Following this ceremony, the burial will occur at 8:30 PM at Bada Kabarastan opposite Marine Lines Station.

As investigations continue into Baba Siddique's murder, Mumbai police have detained two of the three shooters from the scene. They also recovered two loaded guns from these individuals. NDTV reports suggest a possible link to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang due to Baba's association with Salman Khan. Notably, Salman had previously received threats from this gang. Additionally, media sources indicate that Baba Siddique had been threatened about 15 days prior to this incident.
