Week 1 Box Office Clash: Auron Mein Kahan Leads Over Ulajh

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha vs Ulajh Box Office Collection Week 1: August has been a month of intense box office clashes. Recently, Ajay Devgn and Tannu's Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha faced off against Janhvi Kapoor's Ulajh. Both films premiered on August 2, generating significant buzz despite their distinct genres.

Ulajh, a spy thriller, and Auron Me Kahan Dum Tha, a romantic thriller, have sparked much speculation about which would dominate the box office. Ulajh had a modest start, earning Rs 1.15 crores on its opening day. In contrast, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha collected Rs 1.85 crores on its first day. Despite mixed reviews for both films, Ajay's romantic thriller maintained an edge over Ulajh throughout the first week.

Both movies have now completed their first week in theatres. According to Sacnilk, Ulajh earned Rs 47 lakhs on its seventh day (first Thursday), bringing its total first-week collection to Rs 7.22 crores. Meanwhile, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha garnered Rs 64 lakhs on the same day, pushing its first-week earnings to Rs 10.09 crores. Clearly, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha has emerged as the box office leader in the first week.

Interestingly, both films will face new competition from Urvashi Rautela's recent release Ghuspaithiya. It remains to be seen if Janhvi's film and Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha can maintain their box office momentum into the second week.
