Atul Parchure Funeral Update: Shreyas Talpade And Raj Thackeray Attend To Pay Last Respects

Actor and comedian Atul Parchure's passing has deeply saddened many. Known for his role in The Kapil Sharma Show, he succumbed to cancer on Monday. His family organised the funeral on Tuesday, which was attended by several notable figures like Shreyas Talpade, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Raj Thackeray. Videos from the event quickly spread online.

Shreyas Talpade was seen at the funeral wearing a white shirt, beige trousers, and a white cap. He offered his condolences to Atul's family before leaving. The video of his presence was widely shared.

Raj Thackeray, leader of MNS, also attended the funeral dressed in all white. He visited Atul's home to express his sympathies to the grieving family. Before this, Raj shared a heartfelt message on Twitter about Atul: "He and I were not very friends in school, but for us he was a celebrity! After going to college, although our colleges were different, our friendship became stronger and stronger. Atul is a real artist. Atul's work in dramas like Kapus Kondaya Josht, Natigoti, Tarun Turk Mhatare Aark, Vishka and Valli was immense. Well Atul is such a lucky actor that his persona and work in Valli P.L. Deshpandis not only saw but also appreciated him."

Sachin Khedekar, Suchitra Bandekar, and Nivedita Saraf were among others who came to pay their respects at the ceremony.

The funeral took place at 11 am on October 15 at Shivaji Park Crematorium.
