Assamese Creator Challenges Entertainment Norms To Captivate India
Meet Zack, a young man from Assami who has pushed the boundaries of entertainment. Living with his parents in Rangagora, Nogaun district, Zack's unique makeup, cross-dressing, and feminine dance moves have made him stand out.
Zack was a loner during his school days and spent much time alone without friends. To pass the time, he started creating comedy videos, but they didn't gain much traction. Instead of giving up, he began dressing in women's clothes and behaving like a woman.

His provocative moves caught attention, such as in this video where he turned the sensual Bollywood song 'Yimmy Yimmy' into a comedy video with his sensual dance moves dressed as a sexy woman!
Soon, some villagers began to appreciate his efforts and joined in. For instance, in another video, he recreated the song "Ye Dil Pyar Mange Hai" (Dhadkan) with two new friends and an audacious costume!
Zack's videos never fail to deliver laughter and quirkiness. These videos turned some heads and he got recognized on social media platforms. However, some people in his village began to judge him negatively for his videos. But Zack knew that if he continued to entertain his audiences, everyone would eventually see it in the right way.
Zack found his biggest audience on the short video platform Josh. On Josh, he has delivered such quirky videos that make mega influencers like Orry and Urfi Javed pay attention! And now, his videos have started earning money through Josh's Creator Pro program.
Earning Through Content Creation
This program pays creators based on views and engagement on their content. A creator doesn't need millions of followers or hundreds of videos. With over 100 million active viewers and content in 10 Indian regional languages, Josh is a hotspot for creators like Zack.
Zack says, "I want everyone to realize that there is no limit to entertainment. Don't let anyone or anything stop you from creating content that you believe in." His videos are redefining boundaries and he has branched out into newer forms of content like Movie Reviews.
Changing Perceptions
Ever since Zack started earning money from his videos, fellow villagers have changed their perceptions. Now they are supportive of his work and his family celebrates his uniqueness. Zack now wants to collaborate with popular Assamese creators like Monu Deori and inspire a new generation of content creators.
