Arunabh Kumar Reflects On His Journey In Entertainment Thanks To Shah Rukh Khan's Influence

Arunabh Kumar founded TVF with the aim of creating relatable stories for audiences. Today, TVF stands as a leading content creator in India. This achievement didn't happen overnight for Arunabh. His journey was significantly influenced by a mentor who inspired him from the start—Shah Rukh Khan.

Recently, as Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his birthday, Arunabh reflected on how SRK played a pivotal role in his career. He shared memories on social media about working on SRK's films and his time as an Assistant Director. He also wished SRK a happy birthday, expressing gratitude for the superstar's influence.

"From being a Stand-In for his Shots on Om Shanti Om, as an AD (Assistant Director) in 2007, to be able to Direct him for the 1st time on an Online Content in 2014... when Youtube & Viral Videos were still unpopular words... and still He agreed to be a part of the Pilot episode of a show where the idea was to get the Celebs be themselves and have fun...we literally got the BIGGEST SUPERSTAR for the 1st Episode itself and It was his sense of humor, charm and effortless wit that helped us put together Indian Internet's FIRST Online Talk Show...which would not have been possible without him...& encouraged us at TVF to keep working on our stories as he could see the future."

Arunabh expressed how fortunate he felt to have SRK as his first boss. He credited Red Chillies Entertainment as an excellent learning ground with SRK at its helm. He appreciated mentors like Farah Khan and others who contributed to his growth in filmmaking.

"It is a rare privilege that the 1st company you work for you get SRK as your Big Boss and I can never thank my stars (& @vaibhavmisra23) enough for giving me the Best Film School that I could get in @redchilliesent with Principal as SRK and amazing Class Teachers like @farahkhankunder @karuna_badwal @vmanikandandop @sabu_cyril @harry.hingorani & so many to learn from...not to mention share Debut work with one of India's Biggest Actresses & Superstars @deepikapadukone with @poojadadlani02 @kanika.d & so many rockstars."
