Shivani (Tamannaah) marries against her family's wishes and lives with her husband and two children in a large heritage property. Her brother, Advocate Saravanan (Sundar C), learns of her suicide and her husband's death. Villagers claim to have seen Shivani running out of the house when she was found hanging in a well. Concerned for his niece's safety, Saravanan moves in with them. Sinister forces threaten their lives, including a ghost named 'Baak' from northeast India. The story revolves around how Shivani and Saravanan protect the children and confront these threats.
