A.R. Rahman Honored With Excellence In Cinema Award At IFFM 2024
Melbourne, August 16, 2024 - Award-winning composer and music maestro A.R. Rahman was honoured with the 'Excellence in Cinema' Award at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2024.
The award was presented by Margaret Elaine Gardner, the Hon'ble Governor of Melbourne, alongside filmmaker Imtiyaz Ali, marking a significant moment in this year's festival.

A.R. Rahman expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Ms Margaret Elaine Gardner and festival director Ms Mitu Bhowmick for the esteemed honour. He commended IFFM for its dedication to showcasing diverse cinematic talents and fostering cultural exchanges.

Directed by Rohit Gupta and produced by Rahman, the film has garnered acclaim for its innovative storytelling and unique perspective on the intersection of music and culture.
