Apeksha Porwal's Journey Through The Untouched Landscapes Of Northeast India
Apeksha Porwal, an avid traveller, recently embarked on a journey to Northeast India. This was her first visit to the region, and she was captivated by its beauty. During her trip, she explored various locations in Assam and Meghalaya, leaving a part of her heart behind.
"I've always wanted to travel to the NorthEast because that's an area I have never explored before. I went for a five-day trip, which started with me landing in Guwahati. Exploring the city, I saw the historial significance it holds," she shares.

Meghalaya was Apeksha's next destination, where she was enchanted by its natural beauty. "I stayed in Shillong and from there, I went to so many more places. The flora, natural resources and landscape that Meghalaya has is unlike anywhere else in India. The most beautiful part for me was to visit the caves, lagoons and experience crystal-clear blue water. The untouched landscape of the state is just mesmerising," she insists.
In addition to Shillong, Apeksha visited Mawlynnog, known as India's cleanest village. She admired how well the village maintained its cleanliness and landscape. Her journey also included Cherrapunji, famous for being India's wettest city. "The way they have maintained the landscape and cleanliness is truly commendable. I also visited Cherrapunji, the wettest city in India and the waterfalls there just had my heart. It was a beautiful trip," says the actor, who was recently seen In the web series Honeymoon Photographer.
The adventure began in Guwahati, where Apeksha discovered its historical importance while exploring the city. This marked the start of her five-day exploration of Northeast India.
