Josh Music's Anurag Chatterjee Opens Up About His Inspiring Musical Voyage

Josh, India's renowned short video app, has provided a significant platform for numerous artists to showcase their talents, allowing them to connect with audiences nationwide. Among these artists is Anurag Chatterjee from Naihati, a professional singer, songwriter, composer, and music director. Anurag shared insights about his musical journey and the role Josh played in his career.

For those unfamiliar with Anurag's work, he has always had a strong inclination towards music. He has composed over 70 songs, with 32 of them released. "As a music director, I can say that though my main genre is romantic and soft rock, I have worked as a quite versatile composer, covering genres like classical, semi classical, soft rock, Pop and so on," he mentioned.

Anurag discussed the challenges he faced in the competitive music industry. He stated, "In a world where there are so many musicians, it's always tough to make a mark. In 2020, I took part in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and ever since, there has been no looking back. I was one of the top 10 contestants over there. After that, I have worked as a music composer with many artists, including one of the biggest names in our Bengali industry, Iman Chakraborty. Recently, I have been assisting Mr. Amit Chatterjee and have worked in films and series like 'Abar Proloy', 'Badami Hyenar Kobole', and 'Athhoyi'."

Anurag began his association with Josh in 2022 and has enjoyed significant success since then. "It has been an amazing journey. Because of Josh, I have always been motivated to create some amazing music covers. Besides, through Josh, I got to create some amazing music as well. I am thankful to my audience in Josh for all the love," he expressed.

He also offered valuable advice to aspiring musicians: hold on to your dreams and never give up.
