Actress Who Allegedly Had Relationship With Mahesh Bhatt: Are you familiar with Anu Aggarwal? She gained fame from the 1990 film Aashiqui. Born in Delhi, Anu always dreamed of becoming a model. She began her modelling career and intended to pursue it further. However, a film opportunity came along and transformed her life completely. Directed by the renowned Mahesh Bhatt, the movie led to rumours about Anu and Mahesh being in a relationship. Let's hear what Anu has to say about these rumours.
Mahesh Bhatt called Anu Aggarwal a "one-take artiste" because she often completed scenes in one take. In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Anu shared, "When the shot ended, I looked around and saw everyone staring at me in amazement, wondering how I managed to perform such a good scene. No one had any idea." She continued, "I was alone in Mumbai, without my parents, and was a model. It was a one-take shot. All my shots in Aashiqui were one-take shots." Addressing the rumours about her and Mahesh Bhatt's alleged relationship, she said, "In fact, Mahesh used to say that I was a 'one-take artist.' I hadn't heard that term before, and I think many people didn't like it. You know how it is; other people can be jealous." She added, "From the reactions I saw afterwards, some people started spreading rumours about me and Mahesh Bhatt, questioning our relationship and why he was so partial to me. Why did he praise me like that?" Anu mentioned she had too much on her plate as a young girl who was just 22 years old.

Anu recounted an incident on set where her makeup was done to make her appear fairer. When asked if she felt discriminated against because of her skin colour, Anu responded, "Of course, from day one, they tried to paint me white." She remembered walking out of the room because she was receiving fair makeup. Later on, Anu was offered an advertisement for Fair & Lovely but declined it by saying, "She is not fair but lovely."
