Anasua Chowdhury Highlights Importance Of Transitioning Between Acting Roles
Anasua Chowdhury, recognised for her performances in Dil Dosti Dance on Channel V and various episodic series like Savdhaan India, Fear Files, and C.I.D., is currently starring in the web series Waack Girls. She believes that transitioning from one character to another is crucial for an artist. "I think as an artist, it's my job to move on from one character to another, as the job demands," she stated.
She stresses the importance of detachment from roles, saying, "It's never too healthy to stay attached to a character. That's why, as actors, we need to keep training and working on our craft. Whether it's easy or difficult depends entirely on our skill level." This approach helps her maintain a fresh perspective with each new project.

Anasua approaches each project with a unique mindset. She immerses herself fully into the role at hand. "When I'm working on a particular project, I give it my full focus and dedication. I dive deep into the character, the story, and their mannerisms," she explained. Once a project concludes, she disconnects from that role entirely.
Research plays a vital role in Anasua's preparation process. She conducts detailed studies of her characters to ensure authenticity in her portrayals. "I undergo personal training to fully understand and portray each new role. It's crucial for me to leave the previous character behind because carrying it into the next project can create challenges," she shared.
Dedication is key for Anasua when embodying a character. She prefers focusing solely on one role at a time to deliver genuine performances. "I prefer to dedicate myself completely to one character at a time, giving 100% focus to ensure each performance feels fresh and authentic," she concluded.
This method allows her to adapt seamlessly between diverse roles without overlap or confusion. By doing so, Anasua ensures that each portrayal remains distinct and true to its narrative context.
