Anant Ambani & Radhika Merchant Wedding Festivity Mameru: Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to marry on July 12, 2024. The wedding celebrations have already started. Recently, photos from their Mameru ceremony have gone viral on social media. The Ambanis hosted the grand event while embracing their Gujarati culture by holding a Mameru ceremony. Do you know what Mameru is? Let's explore.
Mameru is a beloved Gujarati custom where the bride's maternal uncle showers her with gifts and sweets. Typically, the bride receives a panetar saree, jewelry, white chuda, and dry fruits. During the ceremony, the bride seeks blessings by touching her uncle and aunt's feet. This event is held separately at both the bride's and groom's homes.

Radhika wore a pink lehenga paired with an orange embroidered blouse for her Mameru ceremony. Her parents also embraced traditional attire; her mother wore a pink and purple saree, while her father donned a white kurta with a blue printed jacket. The ceremony was held at Antilla in Mumbai.
