Alia Bhatt's Saree Tale

Alia Bhatt said while describing her Met Gala look as she wore a saree on the red carpet, "There's nothing more endless and timeless like a saree." Recalling wearing a saree for the first time, Alia said, "I remember the first time I wore a sari, it was for Teacher's Day. I was in the ninth grade." The actress then revealed that her experience was not so pleasant with the saree. She said, "And as I reached my school, my pleats opened. So I went into the bathroom and then, you know, they were like 'Baby, kya ho raha hai?' They were quickly putting my pleats back for me."

Indeed, whether a great actress or a small-town girl, not everyone's first experiences are meant to be good. Some bad experiences create memories for a lifetime. So cherish every moment as you live your life. Alia uploaded her Met Gala 2024 look, saying, "Timelessness is endless, and we acknowledge that things crafted with time and care can last forever. In our journey for an Indian interpretation of this universal theme, the outfit took on a life of its own." The actress wore a three-palate Sabyasachi Mukherjee designed saree that had flower designs embedded on it. The wardrobe was inspired by 1920s fringe style.
