Box Office Day 1: Akshay Kumar And John Abraham In A Close Race
Khel Khel Mein vs Vedaa Box Office Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar and John Abraham are two of Bollywood's biggest stars. They are currently in the spotlight due to their latest releases, Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa. Despite being from different genres, both films have captured the audience's interest. With their box office clash, fans are eager to see which movie will dominate.
For those unfamiliar, Khel Khel Mein is a comedy-drama featuring Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan. It is a remake of the Italian film Perfect Strangers. In contrast, John Abraham's Vedaa is based on true events and stars Sharvari, Tamannaah Bhaita, and Abhishek Banerjee. This marks the third box office clash between Akshay and John after Gold vs Satyameva Jayate in 2018 and Mission Mangal vs Batla House in 2019.

According to producer and film business expert Girish Johar, Akshay's Khel Khel Mein is expected to earn Rs 5-6 crores on its opening day. Meanwhile, Vedaa is projected to collect Rs 6-7 crores. It's a tight competition between the two films. Although Akshay has won their previous clashes, it remains to be seen if he can maintain his winning streak at the box office.
Discussing the clash with John's Vedaa, Akshay remarked, "Clashes at the box office keep happening. It's not a big deal at all. It's just a clash and not a slash."
