BMCM Box Office Collection Day 4: Akshay And Tiger's Film Surpasses Rs 40 Crore Mark

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's latest Bollywood offering, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, has encountered hurdles at the box office, falling short of audience expectations. Released on April 11, the film found itself in direct competition with Ajay Devgn's Maidaan, leading to a challenging opening weekend. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the movie has garnered mixed reactions from both fans and critics alike.

Despite a promising start on its release day, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan's performance over the weekend did not live up to its initial momentum. The film saw a modest increase in its earnings on Sunday, with an estimated collection of Rs 9 crores. However, this uptick was not sufficient to boost its overall opening weekend figures significantly. By the end of Sunday, the film's total collection stood at an estimated Rs 40.75 crores, with a Hindi occupancy rate of 20.63%.

BMCM Day 4: Over Rs 40 Cr Earned

The movie kicked off with a strong opening day collection of Rs 15.65 crores, predominantly from the Hindi-speaking regions. Yet, it witnessed a sharp decline on Friday, with earnings dropping to Rs 7.6 crores and only slightly recovering to Rs 8.5 crores on Saturday.

Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Ali Abbas Zafar, and Himanshu Kishan Mehra, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan boasts an ensemble cast including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, and Alaya F alongside leads Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. The narrative centers around two Indian army officers embarking on a mission to combat India's formidable adversary, portrayed by Prithviraj.

Despite the high-profile cast and an action-driven plot, the film has not managed to draw significant crowds to theaters. Future performance remains uncertain as industry predictions hint at a potential decline in viewership.

The box office journey of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has been less than stellar thus far. With a robust start that quickly fizzled out, the movie's ability to recover in the coming days is yet to be determined. Mixed reviews from audiences and critics have further clouded its prospects for success.
