Akshay Kumar's Sky Force Release Delayed To Enhance VFX Quality

Akshay Kumar's upcoming film, Sky Force, has generated significant anticipation among fans. Initially set for release on 2nd October this year, the movie's launch has been delayed. This postponement has extended the wait for Akshay's admirers. Filmibeat recently spoke with Amar Kaushik, the director of Stree 2 and producer of Sky Force.

When asked about the film's progress, Amar Kaushik stated, "You watch the film; Akshay sir has done a very good job in it. The movie is very tight and gripping. You will enjoy while watching it."

Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur, Sky Force features Veer Pahariya, Nimrat Kaur, and Sara Ali Khan alongside Akshay Kumar. The film will be Veer Pahariya's debut in Bollywood. The new release date for Sky Force is now set for 26th January 2025.

Discussing the delay, Amar Kaushik explained, "Sabar ka phal meetha hota hai! We are taking the bar of VFX a notch higher in comparison to Munjya, Bhediya, and Stree 2. So, VFX has to be correct. If the movie is good, and the VFX is not then public gaali deti hai."

Besides Sky Force, Akshay Kumar has several films lined up. These include Welcome 3, Housefull 5, Hera Pheri 3, Singham Again, Jolly LLB 3, C. Sankaran Nair's Biopic, and Bhooth Bangla. Welcome 3, titled Welcome To Jungle, was scheduled for a Christmas release this year but may face delays.

Bhooth Bangla was announced today on Akshay's birthday. Directed by Priyadarshan, this horror-comedy marks their collaboration after 14 years. Fans are eagerly awaiting this reunion.
