Akshay Kumar's Sarfira Faces Box Office Struggle In Opening Week

Sarfira Box Office Collection Day 6 Prediction: Akshay Kumar, a renowned actor in the industry, is currently in the spotlight for his second release of the year. After his appearance in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan earlier this year, he is now capturing attention with Sudha Kongara's Sarfira. The film also stars Radhika Madan, Paresh Rawal, and Seema Biswas, with a cameo by South star Suriya. Notably, Sarfira is a remake of Suriya's successful film Sorarai Pottru.

The chemistry between Akshay and Radhika in Sarfira has been well-received by audiences. Despite the initial buzz and decent reviews upon release, the film struggled to make a significant impact at the box office from day one. It opened with Rs 2.5 crores on its first day and saw a slight increase over the opening weekend.

According to Sacnilk, Sarfira collected Rs 4.25 crores on its second day (first Saturday) and Rs 5.25 crores on its third day (first Sunday). However, there was a significant drop on the fourth day (first Monday), with collections falling to Rs 1.45 crores. On the fifth day (first Tuesday), there was a slight recovery as it earned Rs 1.87 crores, bringing the total collection to Rs 15.32 crores.

Given current trends, Sarfira is expected to earn between Rs 1-1.5 crores today (day 6/first Wednesday). The film is struggling to reach Rs 20 crores within its first week. Additionally, it faces stiff competition from Prabhas and Deepika Padukone's Kalki 2898 AD and will clash with Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk's Bad Newz this Friday.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar expressed his gratitude towards Sudha Kongara for giving him this role in Sarfira. He stated, "This is my 150th film and it is my best film. I am very thankful to Sudha for giving me this film and the opportunity to be in it". He also praised Radhika Madan's performance: "This is the best performance I have ever seen. I don't know what you all think about her. She is not Maharashtrian, but she has acted like one. She is very well-spoken. Her language was very good and she has gone through whole classes to learn how to speak Marathi and what to say. That is what she has done".

The coming days will reveal how Sarfira performs amidst tough competition at the box office.
