Sarfira also features Radhika Madan, Paresh Rawal, Seema Biswas, and R. Sarathkumar in pivotal roles. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) granted the film a U (Universal) certificate after removing certain derogatory words. The film runs for 155 minutes.

The film is reported to be a big-budget project with an estimated budget of around Rs 80 crore. However, official figures have not been released yet.

Fans are eagerly awaiting Akshay Kumar's performance in this emotionally charged Hindi drama. However, the film faces stiff competition from Kamal Haasan's Indian 2. According to a Sacnilk report, Sarfira has earned Rs 22.4 lakhs within the first 24 hours by selling over 11 thousand tickets. This surpasses the ticket sales of Bade Miyan Chote Miya, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, which sold over 9500 tickets in the same timeframe.

Early estimates suggest that the newly-released film might open around Rs 3 crore. Given its estimated budget, Sarfira needs to earn at least Rs 90-100 crore domestically to be considered a box office success.

The excitement surrounding Akshay Kumar's role in this drama is palpable among fans. Yet, with Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 also releasing around the same time, it remains to be seen which film will dominate at the box office.
