Sarfira Box Office Collection Day 2: Akshay Kumar, after his success in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, is now in the spotlight for his latest film Sarfira. This movie marks his first collaboration with Paresh Rawal and is directed by Sudha Kongara. Sarfira is the Bollywood adaptation of the Tamil film Sorarai Pottru, which starred Suriya. The film also features Paresh Rawal and Seema Biswas in significant roles and received mixed reviews from audiences.

Despite its initial slow start at the box office, Sarfira managed to attract attention due to its inspiring storyline and the chemistry between Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan. According to Sacnilk, the movie collected Rs 2.5 crores on its opening day. The film is based on G. R. Gopinath's memoir Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey.

On its second day (first Saturday), Sarfira saw a significant increase of 70% in its earnings, collecting Rs 4.25 crores. This brought the total box office collection to Rs 6.75 crores. Despite facing tough competition from Prabhas and Deepika Padukone's Kalki 2898 AD, Sarfira set a record for Radhika Madan's highest second-day collection. It remains to be seen how the movie will perform in the coming days.

Akshay Kumar expressed his gratitude towards director Sudha Kongara for giving him this opportunity, stating, "This is my 150th film and it is my best film." He also praised co-star Radhika Madan's performance, saying, "This is the best performance I have ever seen. I don't know what you all think about her. She is not Maharashtrian, but she has acted like one. She is very well-spoken."

Akshay further highlighted Radhika's dedication to her role by mentioning her efforts to learn Marathi for the film: "Her language was very good and she has gone through whole classes to learn how to speak Marathi and what to say." This dedication contributed significantly to her convincing portrayal of a Maharashtrian character.

The buzz around Sarfira continues as fans eagerly await its performance at the box office in the upcoming days. The film's unique storyline and strong performances have certainly made an impact despite stiff competition.
