Sarfira Box Office Day 1: Akshay Kumar's Latest Fails To Impress
Sarfira Box Office Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar's film Sarfira generated significant anticipation. As a remake of Sudha Kongara's 2020 National Award-winning movie Soorarai, it was expected to have an impressive opening. However, the film did not meet expectations. This may be due to the attention on Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding on July 12. Notably, Akshay Kumar did not attend the wedding.
Akshay Kumar's latest release, Sarfira, earned Rs. 2.40 crore on its first day, according to Sacnilk reports. This figure is comparable to his previous film Mission Raniganj's opening day earnings. In contrast, his film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan had a much stronger start, grossing Rs. 15.65 crore on its first day.

The box office performance of Sarfira on its debut day was underwhelming, with earnings of Rs. 2.40 crore. This amount is similar to what Mission Raniganj made on its opening day but significantly lower than Bade Miyan Chote Miyan's first-day collection of Rs. 15.65 crore.
Sarfira's first-day collection of Rs. 2.40 crore is considered one of Akshay Kumar's lowest in recent years. Even his less successful films like Mission Raniganj and Selfie performed better on their opening days, with Mission Raniganj earning Rs. 2.8 crore and Selfie making Rs. 2.5 crore respectively.
Additionally, Sarfira ranked below Bellbottom, which garnered around Rs. 2.75 crore on its first day.
Why Didn't Akshay Kumar Attend Anant-Radhika Wedding?
Reports indicate that Akshay Kumar tested positive for Covid-19, preventing him from attending the high-profile Ambani wedding.
Fans are hopeful for Akshay Kumar's swift recovery.
