Khel Khel Mein Faces Tough Start In Advance Bookings: Akshay Kumar's Latest Challenge
Khel Khel Mein Advance Booking Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar is making headlines again with his third release of the year, Khel Khel Mein. After entertaining fans with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan alongside Tiger Shroff and Sarfira opposite Radhika Madan, Akshay returns with a comedy-drama featuring Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, Khel Khel Mein is an official Bollywood remake of the Italian film Perfect Strangers. This movie marks Akshay's second collaboration with Vaani Kapoor after Bell Bottom. The film has generated significant buzz due to its intriguing trailer and star-studded cast. Despite this, it has faced challenges at the box office since its first day.

According to Sacnilk, Khel Khel Mein sold 18,339 tickets and earned Rs 66.12 lakhs in advance bookings. Although it didn't reach the Rs 1 crore mark, it might surpass Sarfira's advance booking collection of Rs 69.99 lakhs. However, it falls short compared to Bade Miyan Chote Miyan's advance booking collection of around Rs 4.81 crores.
The film faces stiff competition at the box office from Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 and John Abraham's action drama Vedaa. Stree 2 leads in advance bookings with Rs 12.66 crores, while Vedaa has collected Rs 65.23 lakhs. It remains to be seen if Khel Khel Mein can break Akshay's recent box office dry spell.
