Akshay Kumar Wore Sanitary Pads For Film: Akshay Kumar recently garnered attention for his cameo in Stree 2. The film's release sparked discussions about his unexpected appearance. Fans speculated that Akshay might portray a character named Sarkata, hinting at a significant role in the sequel. Known for his unique choices, Akshay has previously taken on unconventional roles, such as in Pad Man, where he wore sanitary pads to authentically depict his character's experience.

Akshay Kumar's portrayal in Pad Man was highly convincing because he familiarised himself with the discomfort of wearing a pad. During a promotional interview with Telly Chakkar, director R Balki mentioned that Akshay was not hesitant about the scene requiring him to wear a pad. Akshay described the experience as "very beautiful," though he admitted it was something he might never do again but did once as an actor.

While shooting for Pad Man, Akshay had to wear sanitary pads. He confessed, "I also don't know whether sanitary napkins were inconvenient or not, but this is something that no one would ever do as a man. I was scared for the first 30 seconds." His willingness to take on diverse roles and explore new challenges is what defines him as an actor.
